Continuing Education Approval
Tosh & Associates has been approved to teach on-site appraisal continuing education in the State of California. There are a number of courses currently approved and new courses are continually being added.
Basic Education Approval
Tosh & Associates has been approved to teach on-site appraisal basic education in the State of California. There are a number of courses currently approved and new courses are continually being added. Please note that a test is required at the completion of the course and the passing grade must be 75%.
Equipment Used
The instructors use projection units combined with computers (instead of overhead projectors). Certain courses may also use other audio/visual equipment.
Entry Criteria
There are no restrictions as to who may attend any course given by Tosh & Associates. There are no prerequisites to any courses. The student must have an appraisal certification, if he or she wishes to receive continuing education credits. For all of Tosh & Associates continuing education courses, there will be no formal graded exam at the conclusion of the course.
Certificates of Completion
Certificates of completion will be issued no later than 2 weeks after the conclusion of the class to all students who successfully complete the course and are paid in full.
Textbooks/Handouts
The textbooks used for each course have been designed specifically for these courses. Course handouts include various materials which might interest the student (each handout is related to the course topic) or information which the student will need in order to implement course instruction. Textbooks and materials may or may not be included in the course fee.
Attendance Policy
Tosh & Associates adheres to state policy (in California 90% attendance) in order for the student to receive continuing education credits. Attendance is monitored throughout the day with attendance sheets passed out after every break. Students will not receive certificates of completion for the course if the attendance requirements are not met to the satisfaction of Tosh & Associates.
Refund Policy
Cancellations that are confirmed via e-mail prior to 72 hours of the class are entitled to a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours of the class will be subject to a non-refundable fee of $50. All cancelling students have the option to reschedule - instead of a refund - and receive full credit toward any future class within Tosh & Associates School of Real Estate Appraisals with no time limit. Tosh & Associates School of Real Estate Appraisals does not guarantee class availability within a certain time frame. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Limitation of Liability
In any dispute with or claim against Tosh & Associates, the studentŐs sole remedy shall be a refund of the tuition paid, and the student waives all other claims, demands, and remedies of whatever type against Tosh & Associates.
Telephone Solicitation
By enrolling for a class with Tosh & Associates, a student gives us permission to contact him/her by telephone at any time in the future unless he/she expressly asks to be removed from our telephone call list.
